I love simplicity, I have always searched for it in every aspect of my life. Now as a jeweler I think I manage to satisfy my need and embrace the fact that even though many are in love with “complicated” I for one am not that way. There is however a notion that simple means poor or lacking attractiveness, which is totally false, simple is the hardest thing to achieve especially in designing objects.

On another note, if you are somewhat in love with style and fashion, take the time to see “Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel” it is amazing, not necessarily as a film but only because of her and I think I learned a very important lesson … but watch yourself and you will find out.

It’s Saturday morning, one week ‘till Autor 9 Contemporary Jewelry Fair and it’s a lovely day. Friday was a pretty busy day and I think today I’ll also keep busy, a lot of stuff still needs to be finished until the fair.

For spring I’ve started working on two collections, one that is a bit lighter and the other is more about working silver with antique techniques and blending it with great stones such as Chalcedony, Labradorite and Amazonite.

The image above, I just took it, is of earrings part of the OneHundred&Twenty Degrees Collection, I’ve named them ” Stars” Earrings continuing the Cosmos theme of the collection. I love the way they look siting on the mantel, silver is a beautiful looking metal, I feel it captures so much and communicates with it’s bearer.

Hello jewelry lovers,

I’m glad to announce a new look for Expression Jewelry! After almost 2 years since I started my Expression story I have a lot to be thankful for: accomplishing more than I thought I could, being part of great projects and meeting amazing and creative people.

I am a jeweler and proud of it!
